Our former home is an old, cozy and lovely little wooden house with a soul. The family pictures on the walls, the cracking of the floor, traditional objects related to family life and our craftsmanship tell stories from the past. They give this house its special charm. A simple and charming accommodation for up to four travelers.

Iceland's main airport is located in southwest Iceland, in Keflavik. From there our guests can travel by rental car, public transport or a connecting flight from Reykjavik to Akureyri further to Reykjahlið - Northeast Iceland.
Several flights from Europe are directly connected to the airport in Akureyri (North Iceland).
Our house is quietly situated on the outskirts of Reykjahlið village, northeast of lake Mývatn. All the sights of the region are in the immediate vicinity. It is easy comfortable to reach by car or by bus and a short walk.
Living in harmony with nature is our top priority. We ask our guests to treat the environment, the landscape, the people and animals living there with respect and mindfulness.
We would ask that our guests stay on marked trails and dispose of waste in the designated waste disposal facilities.
